Product information
Description
Pearl Oak is a beautifully light oak-effect luxury vinyl tile, designed to create a bright, clean and contemporary finish. Its soft natural tones make it incredibly versatile, working just as well in modern kitchens and open-plan living spaces as they do in bedrooms and hallways.
With a tough 0.55mm wear layer, realistic deep embossed texture and a matt finish, Pearl Oak gives you the look of natural timber with the practicality of glue-down LVT.
Installation & Care
- Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, smooth, level and free from dust or debris before installation.
- Allow the flooring to acclimatise in the room before fitting.
- Pearl Oak is a glue-down LVT and should be fully bonded to the prepared subfloor using a suitable LVT/acrylic flooring adhesive. The product assessment allows installation with acrylic adhesive.
- Plan the plank layout before applying adhesive to minimise small cuts and achieve a balanced finish.
- Apply adhesive according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions, including the correct coverage and open time.
- Lay each plank firmly into the adhesive and keep joints tightly fitted.
- Roll the completed floor with a suitable flooring roller to ensure good adhesive transfer.
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure before heavy foot traffic, moving furniture or wet cleaning.
Care Guide
- Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove grit and loose dirt.
- Clean using a damp mop and a neutral cleaner suitable for LVT/vinyl flooring.
- Wipe up spills promptly.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, bleach and harsh solvents.
- Do not flood the floor or leave standing water on the surface.
- Use felt pads beneath furniture legs and protective mats beneath heavy or frequently moved furniture.
- Lift heavy furniture rather than dragging it across the floor.
- Use entrance mats to reduce dirt, grit and moisture being walked onto the flooring.
- Avoid rubber-backed mats where possible, as some rubber products can cause discolouration to vinyl flooring.
- The flooring has a matt UV-coated surface to help protect the decorative finish.
