For the perfect herringbone pattern, it is recommended to prepare the subfloor: it should be dry, clean, and level. The planks come in the correct size to help align the pattern accurately. Use a specific LVT adhesive (pressure or acrylic-based) and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure lasting adhesion. This LVT can be installed over most solid subfloors and is compatible with underfloor heating systems (provided the temperature does not exceed the recommended limits for vinyl). Once installed, the textured surface makes maintenance simple: just sweep with a soft broom and wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking like new.
