What Is Glue Down LVT?
Glue down LVT is luxury vinyl tile that is permanently bonded to the subfloor using a pressure-sensitive adhesive, tile by tile, across the entire surface. Unlike floating or click formats, there's no flex, no hollow sound underfoot, and no risk of movement over time.
The result feels and behaves more like a traditional hard floor — flat, solid, and stable. It's the installation method of choice for commercial projects, high-traffic areas, and any environment where long-term performance matters.

Installation Overview
- Prepare the subfloor — Clean, dry, and level. Correct any unevenness over 3mm per 2 metres before starting
- Acclimatise — Leave tiles in the room for at least 24 hours before installation
- Apply adhesive — Spread evenly with a notched trowel, working in sections
- Lay tiles — Press firmly from the centre outward, maintaining tight, consistent joins
- Allow to cure — Typically 24 hours before foot traffic
